Old Toyota pickup do anything for anyone here?
And here’s a Nissan that I’ve been drooling over ever since it appeared. Forgive the terrible pictures. The truck is absolutely beautiful, with a perfectly straight body, immaculate paint, and all of the 80's you could ever want.
PPretty sure I tracked down the listing, too! I’m honestly surprised the price isn’t higher. Maybe it’s a rolling shell?

I love the extremely square aesthetics of 80s Nissan trucks. When I was looking for my truck over the summer, I had to — on multiple nights — talk myself out of buying one of those over an hour away in Hood River that would’ve needed to be trailered back.

There's something so appealing about them. They're right up there with the wedge-shaped sports cars

It reminds me of my grandfather's old Stout. Great little truck.

It sure resembles one. I learned to drive stick on a Stout so I have a soft spot for them.

From this angle it looks square enough..
They only sold a total of a few thousand in the 1960s, mostly on the west coast , before it was replaced by the slightly smaller Hilux.
I’ve only been aware of North American models existing in California. Cab e Toyota brings a restored one to the Japanese car shows.

It certainly looks like it would be a lovely little truck. My first vehicle was a $400 Datsun pickup that wouldn't die , and I think I’ll always have a soft spot for tiny Japanese pickups...

. ~3,000 lb payload capacity.

That is in fact a stout. Rare, but STILL somehow not as rare as far first generation Hilux

Yep. There are still a few around in the PNW. I have seen a couple randomly over the years.
