I know what happened. Someone pulled out a photo of a Volvo V90. Everyone saw it and collectively burst into flaming heat. They didn’t even have the chance to scream in ecstacy before exploding.

Bu ses place far too many people into a vehicle with single points of failure . Private cars distribute this risk.
Keep the public safe. Ban buses .

update on the bus from t he dailymail.com (I know, they are crappy sensationalist journalism, but their bot-search tools are second to none, so they always have the latest breaking news, even if it is a poorly worded reprint )
Bus in Stockholm city centre is engulfed in flames after its gas tank exploded
Vehicle was travelling towards a height restricted bridge when it hit the barriers
The gas tank was on the roof and was pierced by the hanging bridge pontoons
Driver was thought to be the only person on-board and was taken to hospital
note to future bus engineers - fuel storage above the passengers is no bueno in all situations, see commercial helicopters for reference.
