I was a big AirWolf fan - and enjoyed Jan-Michael Vincent’s various interviews on Howard Stern - he was quite the character.

I’ve probably told this story of when I met him. Abbreviated version:

About 15 years ago. Go to wife’s friend’s house. Dude said his buddy is coming over/going to bar. Chillin out. Dude’s buddy shows up. Is Jan Michael Vincent! He’s aged, thick beard. Sit around talking about random stuff for half an hour. Jan says ‘hey, Revan, drive us to the bar?’. F YEAH! JAN MICHAEL VINCENT IN MY CAR!! Dropped off dude and JMV at bar.

Not really much of a story, but I’m happy I got to meet him. It was a good time! Both Dude and JMV have now passed (Dude some years back) . I just hope they are somewhere up there having some brews together.

That’s actually a great story. I first came across JMV in Hooper , which I think was one of the best and most under appreciated Burt Reynolds movies. Dat Firebird jacket doe.
