Lincoln is replacing the MKC with the Cosair
2020 Lincoln Corsair
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! has photos showing the Cosair testing and it looks to be a mini Aviator both inside
2020 Lincoln Corsair interior
and out. It should make its debut soon.
Speaking of Lincoln, they were also caught testing a diesel
Avaitor Diesel?
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! has video and photos of Lincoln testing an Aviator diesel in Colorado. They said they heard the distinct clatter of a diesel engine, and expect it to debut in 2021.
Multiple 2020 CT4 models caught testing
2020 Cadillac CT4 V-Sport
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! caught multiple CT4 mules running around in what they assume are Luxury, Sport and V-Sport trims. The CT4 is set to replace both the slow selling ATS and CTS next year.
Cadillac is also apparently testing a XT4 diesel
Cadillac XT4
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! also caught what they assume is an XT4 diesel testing but they are saying that they assume that this model would be for Europe only. Their takeaways for thinking this is a diesel model testing? A decal on the fuel door and the vehicle having a dual single exit exhaust outlet instead of the XT4 dual rectangular outlets.
XT4 rear
Moto1 also thinks they caught a Mustang Hybrid test mule
Mustang Hybrid Test Mule
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! notice that the front end of this Mustang was different in that the air dams are smaller and something about the exhausts...I don’t know. Its not enough for me to think that this is a hybrid model so check it out for yourselves.

Lincoln is hopefully going to do away with all that alphanumeric naming system that made it impossible to know what vehicle you were talking about.
They choose such a hard to distinguish mix of letters that my buddy used them on his license plate to make it harder to remember, something like MKVCKM, lol.

Good to Lincoln, that Corsair interior looks much better than the MKEscape it replaces.

I’m glad they’re going back to names. Sometimes it seems like they are watching what Cadillac is failing at to outdo them..

I agree. The recent facelift the MKC has didn’t do anything.

Yup, following Cadillac, who themselves wanted to follow the European system of alphanumeric with more successful but still mixed results.
They were smart enough however to keep Escalade name around due to the equity in that name. I guess same with Lincoln with the Navigator. Except Lincoln didn’t bother to update their Navi for a long long time, and when they did, what do you know, it becomes a hit.

Ford are bringing back the Corsair? Wonderful news!
Maybe.
Not often you see a V4.
