My windshield arrived as a sack of broken glass inside a box. I guess I’m driving the 95 in the Gambler, and going to have to forgo the Sending It.

wait... they send windshields by parcelpost... in boxes?
do any of them ever arrive unbroken?
(we used to get em just wrapped in all the bubblewrap and tape but still very much unboxed and windshield shaped so even us warehousemonkees wouldnt try to throw it)
(trust me... if its boxed it flies sooner or later)

Haha, I am in charge of shipping at my company and I package everything as if its about to be dropped two stories off of a building. Tape and packing materials are cheap, our product is not, haha.

It was wrapped in a blanket, which was wrapped in two layers of bubble wrap, which was then inside a thin box. Not really how I would have done it, but should have been sufficient.

If I had the time to do it, I would. But I’m kind of just beat now. I’ve been vacuuming grass, dirt, dead bugs, and mouse turds out of the car for a couple hours, struggling with the clutch hydraulics, and chasing electrical faults so I’m kind of over it at this point.
I’m still going, and it’ll be fun, just not in the Bajaab like I wanted to.
