I’d never heard of these before tonight, but it’s a neat little machine. Super simple concept and a fun thing to do for just a few bucks of material. I definitely want to build a couple with Jonah this summer.

You can also buy on off amazon for like 10 bucks, but to me building it is half the fun.

I made a bit bigger version of one of these with my grandfather as a five or six year old.  I still have it in a box up in a closet.

That’s awesome. The closest I have came was a rubber band powered LEGO boat I made for a science fair project. I stuck to want I knew

Ahem, the construc tion of one of these leaves some excess thin aluminum material around. With some cutting and bending and e poxy a fairing could be constructed to shield the wind and provide some boat shape to the forward end.
