Nice truck whoever’s it is. the parking job actually looks pretty good. Not sure what engine it has since Ford moved their Ecoboost badges to the tailgate from 2018 onwards.

Center mount license plate indicates no intercooler, therefore 3.3L V6 or 5.0L V8.

My 2015 F150 2.7L Ecoboost has the license plate mounted exactly the same. Prior F150 generation with the 3.5L Ecoboost that was the case, but not the current gen.

I stand corrected.

No worries, I thought the same thing until I was forced to put a front plate on my truck by the local constable.
Took it to the dealer since I took delivery without the front plate mount. Imagine my surprised when they bolted it to the very front, in front of the intercooler! He explained to me that’s how they all are now. I think the design gets most of it’s air from under the car.

It’s the 2.7 Ecoboost.
I'm a bit too close to the inner edge for my liking
