I messed up the bridge and my PC decided to record it in potato quality but whatever. This game is really awesome. And no, I don’t know why the driver decided to let go of the wheel at 3:06.

Very cool, how’s it feel?

It feels really good. I haven’t played with a wheel yet (I’m home for break starting Wednesday next week and you can bet the first thing I am going to do when I get home is bust out the trusty old G27) but my impressions playing on an Xbox One controller is that everything feels like I expect it to from my real world experience (at least on the Gravel side, the Tarmac physics are all kinds of wonky). Normally there’s some quirk to the physics I have to adapt to but DR2.0 just feels right. Once they get rid of the requirement for a constant internet connection we will finally have something to dethrone Richard Burns Rally as the definitive Rally sim.

Ew, constant internet connection.

The worst part is if you loose connection and make progress it deletes your local save and replaces it with the save on the servers. It’s the one thing that’s really holding the game back right now.

Oh that’s disgusting. Good example of how much better things were in ye olde days
