With the news that the US is about to start a trade war with India, this is bad news for Ford.
Now that Ford has killed off the Focus and Fiesta, the EcoSport i s the remaining entry level vehicle in the market. Unfortunately for Ford, the EcoSport is built in India.
This move would also hurt Mercedes (some GLCs sold in the US are built in India) and Royal Enfield motorcycles.

Maybe Ford should have thought about that before. There’s always Mexico to exploit.
