This is a section of my VehiCROSS’s exhaust. It is hilariously bad.

In all there are seventeen (SEVENTEEN!!!!) exhaust clamps between the cat and the muffler. I don’t know what to make of this, but I do know I’m going to make it worse before I make it better by just trying to use muffler tape to cut down on the noise.

The frame on it is pretty excellent for a 320k truck that’s spent 20 years in RI, but the exhaust is gross. Like for as much money as the guy I got it from spent on the truck (I’ve got about $5k in receipts in the last four years) he couldn’t drop $800 on an exhaust? Weird.

Imagine the weight savings I’ll get just by having a pipe welded in and taking off, again, seventeen god damn clamps.

People’s priorities are so god damn weird. Not that mine aren’t, I did just buy tires to replace decent tires while my exhaust looks like that.

That basically sums it up.  It isn’t leaking from the clamps, the muffler is blown out...so whatever they did with all the clamps basically worked.
