Old on left, new on right.

Several days ago I replaced the headlights in the 4Runner, after noticing them being marked “Japan” and being incredibly dim ( original? ; who makes bulbs in Japan? ). New GE Nighthawk Platinum bulbs went in (this car is t he easiest bulb change I’ve ever done, 5 minutes for both sides, no tools). Last night was the first I actually went any where in full-dark since then , and it’s so much better than the probably-20-year-old bulbs. I can actually see (kind of)!

I’ve put new Sylvania XTRAVISION Halogen seal ed beam style  bulbs in the Jaguar recently, replacing probably ancient Wagners. Vast improvement. Focusing needs a little fine tuning yet but I rougher it in a lot closer to where it should be.
