Just a reminder that the Fiero was a competitor in IMSA racing in the late 80s. It was quick, but not quite “Audi 200 quattro turbo” quick

I’m looking forward to more Fiero content on Oppo...its a car I always consider buying when I’m looking for a $1500-ish project, but ‘88 Formulas don’t pop up too often.

The Fiero holds a special place in my heart. I snuck out of the house at 15 one night, and another kid in the neighborhood who just turned 16 had a Fiero as his first car. We were going to just ride around, but before the night was over I had visited my fir s t strip club ( in the ghetto) and got my first lap dance. I don’t know why they even let us in, o r how we weren’t murdered in that part of town (I wouldn't go there in broad daylight today) , but I’ll never forget that night in the Fiero.

This sounds like a 1980's coming of age comedy. Right down to a Fiero being the car you were in.
