I need one of you to buy this so I don’t have to convince my wife to let me fly to Georgia and drive this home.

It’s expensive but the old adage of find another one applies here.

Wow, only 60k miles? But as the owner of a 2001 German car, I’m terrified by dry rot, wet rot, and the general irreparable plastic and rubber disintegration that a lot of owners experience. It’s the age, not the mileage. This one has a strong chance of being rode hard and put up wet.
OTOH, straight 6 with AWD and manual. Yeah, nice price.

Probably NP; there was one listed near me that looked well care for with 90,000 miles and listed at $10,500 and it wasn’t listed long. I don’t know that it sold but I would assume it did.

Meh, pre-LCI with the small screen and the worst interiour colour possible, pass. I wouldn’t touch a pre-LCI with somebody else’s...

Exactly. The valve seals especially.

What did they change with the LCI?

Besides the visual things like door cards and LED tail lights, for example the cooling for the iDrive. Pre-LCIs all die either suddenly or slow and painful. A way better ZF auto box (not important for the manual of course), plus some other stuff I can’t remember right now (getting late over here).
