I just picked up this Fiata, and I’m gonna go drive it down to San Diego in a minute (from Orange County).
What should I do for a few hours in San Diego this evening? I hear there’s good Mexican food; can anyone recommend a place with vegan options?
Shamoonon on, if you’re taking Jackson to a park tonight, lemme know. I’d love to meet up! I’m so doggy-d eprived right now

Rental? No idea on Mexican places to eat, but there is a great Italian place try Fillipi's, old fashioned big plate of food Italian, with an Italian market in front. Goes with the car, no?

Yup, a Turo rental (manual!). It was gonna be the Abarth version, but whoever rented it yesterday got in an accident and the driver’s door doesn’t work, so I had to settle for the guy’s regular Spider 124.

Only a few hours in San Diego on an evening? I’d head to the Gaslamp quarter and wander around. You should have no trouble finding food, drink and entertainment to your liking.

+1 on Fillipi’s. There’s also Stone Brewing, Oggi’s, and Belching Beaver

Unfortunately the mild sickness I’ve had all day started getting worse so I just had a quick dinner at a Mexican place (Barrio Star) and then bailed. I’ll check out the Gaslamp area next time.
