back when i was in portugal the toaster in the villa broke and just wouldnt stop toasting.... completely smoked out the villa
probably should have mentioned that when we checked out.... oh well.. the next guests will figure it out
doin fine here all things considered just having a lazy saturday... ill consider doing something tomorow... maybe

Went to bed with a headache and woke up with a headache, so I’m doing a lot of nothing. (Advil does nothing, two MRIs say I’m fine but unfix able headaches are obnoxious)
Also, I have a $7 toaster I’d like to replace but I don’t know why toasters haven’t adapted to fit the weird shape of modern “artisan” bread (ie, not square). So no upgrade for me yet.

Good! I’ve spent most of the morning cleaning, and I’m headed to IKEA later because I’m married. I’m heading there by myself because I’m smart.

Short version? I'm just ok with money, but terrible at telling people no. Especially my family, who know this, and have taken advantage of this judiciously. This has made me, by proxy, terrible at money.

My fault. I got laid off four years ago, burned through all my savings, got a job, had two houses for a while, had a baby. I didn't handle that properly on top of everything else. I should have focused on recovering, and I didn't.

It’s possibly nerve-related, which is why OTC painkillers and sleep don’t seem to make a dent. I have imitrex for migraines but I haven’t had one of those in forever at this point. Hoping tomorrow is better.
