“Cornflower Blue”. Only available on the “Rabbit Edition” trim, which slots between the bottom S and the SE. It adds LED headlights, keyless entry and start, and cosmetic touches including new whee ls to the S for $1, 300 extra. A no-brainer to me if you know how I feel about halogen headlights.
I believe all 2019 GTIs get the former Performance Package goodies as well as the brakes from the Golf R.
This is definitely what I will be driving once I’m in my 30s.

I saw it, and not going to lie, I’d go for that trim just for the colour.

It’s almost a voodoo blue. I like it.

That is a pretty nice color. Not sure it beats Great Falls Green though.

Hmm the wheels look too black for me there. I’m just not a fan of dark wheels in general, but the dark gray look in the configurator would be doable.

Cornflower Blue is an awesome color! I was apprehensive at first, but it looks great.
They also released this color, Urano Grey, for the Rabbit Edition. Kind of like a darker shade of the very popular primer style color. I prefer the blue, however.
Rabbit Edition/2017 Sport which I have is a great mix of comfort & performance features without getting leather.

I normally like most greens, but that’s not giving me The Feels. Maybe it’s the red Christmasy combination, or just those weird wheels that VW seems to be stealing from Honda lately.

Yeah, I’d be very torn if I were shopping a GTI right now. Not too many colors are offered, and I’m not head over heels about any of them, but I solidly like most of them.

VW has all the colors now, and I love them for that.

That package sounds like the ideal way to go with the GTI for a lot of people. Probably the one I’d go with to get what I really want and save some money by excluding items which are not essential. And that color....yes!

The GTI is just such a good looking car. It has clean lines, looks refined, has very cool wheels with every generation , looks aggressive enough without trying too hard, not full of fake vents and swoops and grilles. This is a hatch done right.

I’ve often said that I’d like green if it were offered on a car that I was purchasing, but if I had to replace my GTI I would have to seriously consider the cornflower blue GTI . . . until I realize that I still want power seats, so probably would have to go green.

EDITED :
Dude! I saw one of those, in the Urano Gray at the Utah Auto Expo , it looks fantastic with those blacked-out wheels.
And I want those wheels for my GTI.
