These deals keep falling through and it’s getting really frustrating. But now, I’m looking at an ‘84 Camry. It looks positively awesome.

Here’s hoping it works out! He’s asking $750 for it, but I’m going to probably offer $650 or so.

Looks like it has an 85 grille/front clip.  The 5 door is uncommon.

If it’s that clean, I’d just offer full price and land it. I’ve seen two liftbacks in the wild. Very few left.

Fun fact. The hatchback doors are about an inch shorter than the sedan doors. I had an 86 Camry that my Dad and I fixed up for my sister and we got doors from a junkyard hatch. Bolted them on and that's when we found out. We ended up drilling out the spot welds holding the window frame and switched them and the glass.

Maybe see if they’ll take a down payment? Or get a small loan from your bank? My credit union did that for me once
