I ventured into this house only a few feet and noticed the mustang ad, and another couple feet was the December 1981 National Geographic magazine. There was some stuff in it, and below are the vintage ads! Oh, what a feeling!
So how is this my work? We are providing the dumpsters double lined with 6 mill poly, and manpower to spray water on the house as demolition process goes on, what we call a “wet demo” because the house is in too dangerous of a condition to actually do an inspection on. So, the whole house goes as asbestos. And we have one day to do it. 4 dumpsters on site and one getting swapped around 9AM in the morning. That’ll be 200 cubic yards.
This’ll be the first wet demo I’ve been on but my coworker has done a few. It’ll get down to about 32°F tonight according to weatherunderground app, and a high of 45°F tomorrow. Just great.

Damn, that must be a crazy expensive dump fee . a guy wanted me to do a layout for his basement. he was showing me pipes with little white crystals crumbing onto the floor. He knew what it was and was still allowing his 3 y/o son to run around barefoot.

Ooooh a 963! I was amazed the first time I sat in ours, the bucket seems like it’s 20 feet in front of you.

That’s a hard no. I won’t have my kids around it.
I think I’ve been told $800-1,200 per dumpster. Not sure how accurate my memory is of that.

That beech ad reminds me of my home town. The mill had a couple of planes and my father flew on them all the time. In the early 80s they demoed a Beech and a Rockwell Turbo Commander, I got to ride along on one of the flights. Yes it was as awesome as you think for a 7 year old.

Looks kind of like a Sears Catalogue House.

This reminds me of the time my buddy and I sneaked in to the house down the block. It was for sale and vacated. We got in through a back door. In the attic, we found the only things left in the house: two boxes filled with every issue of Playboy to that date , all in mint condition and in order. For two junior high teens, it was the motherload.

Whoa, a Duke— I think I’ve only ever seen one of those in flying shape. Somehow they never really hit a sweet spot between the Baron and King Air.

I’m tempted to call Del collect and see if he can send me any information.
Never mind.

I didn’t really get to drive it, just operate the bucket, our mechanic said it’s scary to drive. Apparently we have a 973 too at our old yard but I’ve never seen it, he said it's massive.

Yeah. :( I’d have been curious what else was in there, but if it’s structurally unsound, it’s probably a no-go.

Yeah, these are worth money if you wanna sell them online. I have a Type 4 ad I bought somewhere for the laughs.

I’d pay good money for a cozy little house in the middle of the woods. Not that one, though.
