I feel dumb. I get notifications that people have recommended my posts, not my replies. I like the concept of doing that rather than just making an inane reply that adds nothing.

Sadly, I have no idea how to recommend a post itself, I only see stars to click for replies. So how does one do it?

UPDATE - It’s the save button. That makes no sense.

Much appreciated. I don’t feel dumb anymore. Having the save button replicate the function of the recommend star in replies is kinda dumb.

True. Mine is generic NH silver Outback #3 on the right. My daily is boring, but comfortable and capable.

Every once in a while I find a post that I really want to read but don’t have time for, so I click the “save for later” ribbon. Unfortunately, right now all saved posts are getting mixed with recommended replies. I’ve lost track of a few articles that way; shoulda bookmarked them through my browser instead. Maybe I’ll find them again once the Kinja team separates saved articles from recommended comments.

It was a change they made only last year, it used to be that you could “star” posts and replies. It was like that for years. Then they randomly changed it to a bookmark symbol for the posts but kept it the star for replies. If you click it, it will say “post saved”. But it will show up in your notification that it was “recommended”
