Everything is packed snow-ice or slush in Everett, accumulated 8 to 10 inches. Several abandoned vehicles, plus one on the river road that a bunch of buddies are trying to recover by themselves out of a ditch with chains.
Ironically, there is a Dick’s towing yard a mile down the road.
In Snohomish, tried to signal to a pickup driver that her tailgate was down and unsecured cargo was ready to fall out.
US 2 wasn’t bad, and in Monroe it’s mostly slush.
I’m worried about my 3AM commute home, however...
But for now, I'm glad I got Blizzaks. They already paid for themselves.

You have snow tires and RWD with mass, you’ll be okay, it’s the other idiots on the road that will be a problem.

Yeah, I chucked a crate of water bottles
in there alongside my 24 pack of Canada Dry. Think that helped quite a bit.

Dayum! That's a lot of snow for a place that typically doesn't do winter!

Snow tires really make the difference. I was driving around this morning (in Kent) and thinking the roads weren't that bad. Then I saw tons of people sliding, stuck, or off of the road.
