That won’t make me drink it. *sips local beer*

I watched that and thought, “oh of course not , they’ve found better ways to make it shitty.”

I would be very concerned if you pissed corn syrup.
![]() 02/03/2019 at 21:33 |

That would give it flavor.

The funny thing is that AB InBev owns Budweiser, Coors, and Miller globally. That’s why they can name each other in these commercials without fear of defamation suits.
I guess the strategy is to gin up loyalty among fans through tribalism? I think they are losing.

It is funny.

Monopolies are great. You get beer made with corn syrup or rice syrup. Enjoy choices!

And often times an independent brewery does well, one of them buys it out. So those of us who pay attention to those types of things move on to another company.

I’m pretty sure Miller and Coors are not AB InBev.

No beer should have corn syrup on the ingredients list. No. The absence of it should not be advertisable.
What the truck is Bud Light anyway?

Something a disturbingly large number of Americans consider beer.

They do, just not in North America

Which is why AB InBev freaked out about this logo:
It will never be on Golden Road, Kona, Goose Island, Wicked Weed, Elysian, Ten Barrel, Shock Top, or Blue Moon.

Founders Brewing = best brewing.
Their Solid Gold beer is my new go-to in a “whenever” beer.

Or Devil’s Backbone, for a local (to me) example. At least I finally found another Vienna lager.

Man, I can’t keep track. I remember. That was one of the ones that said they wouldn’t sell out initially.

Wish it had taken out the Royals in the t ent as well if that means no more bud light ads

I did ironically like the ones making fun of craft brews when they’ve been buying up independent brewers left and right over the past few years.

No, part of the deal when InBev purchased SAB Miller is that SAB Miller has to divest itself from Miller Coors which was bought by Molson and then became Molson Coors. So in conclusion SAB Miller is not Miller.

Only in one continent. In the rest of the world they are the same company.

For now. You’re right . But, the merger is because growth of beer sales is in China and Africa while sales of adjunct lager slip every year here.

Only time I ever drink Bud Light is at our local futbol club’s dollar beer night. It’s still beer. It has alcohol, which is more important than it not having corn syrup.

I’ve had one or two of their beers. I don’t see them often here, though to be fair I’ve been mainly drinking local beers in recent months so I haven’t really looked.

No they don’t. Miller was sold back. InBev wanted all the sub brands.
“ A s part of the transaction, Molson Coors also gains full ownership of the Miller brand portfolio outside of the U.S. and Puerto Rico,”

“ cheap.”

Buying shitty beer in the US (read, Bud light or equivalent) is pretty near unforgivable these days. There’s great beer, there’s good
beer and there’s even decent cheap beer. If you can’t find anything you like better than swill, I don’t think you actually like “beer” or “drinking” for that matter.

So is Oettinger Pils . But it is actually drinkable...and doesn’t contain corn syrup!
