First one I’ve seen in the wild. Supposed to be fuel cell, but I suppose they repurposed the design. I hate the rear end, especially the wheel well.

Bonus Vader for your time - he sleeps on my feet a lot.

I think the wheel well is supposed to be a nod to the original Insight, but they didn’t pull it off very well.

The Clarity is available in Fuel Cell, (regular gasoline) plugin hybrid, and all-electric versions .

The Fuel Cell version is only leased in California, while the other two are sold nationwide.

Mrs. Shoe Pilot replaced her Volt w/ a Clarity plug-in hybrid.  I think the gen 2 Volt is better looking but I think the Honda’s a nicer car.

A lot of those styling cues are in the new Accord, or will come up in future models, but that rear end is unforgiv able ..

gray for sure... though maybe I’m just sick of gray since I have a gray F150 and my sister has a gray 2017 compass (new one, not the 1st gen one!)
