I had a friend ask me how hard is it to change the fluid in his 2008 Volkswagen Eos with DSG. I told him I had no clue. He is somewhat mechanically inclined and would like to know how hard it would be for a beginner-ish guy to change it. Thanks Oppo.

Having the pump for the fluid makes it soo much easier. Most of the euro parts stores online sell them as part of a DSG service kit.

I believe you have to reset the clutches with VAGCOM, it’a more than just a fluid/filter change.
