Actually, my younger (bad ass) sister is moving to Texas and loaded the Rex up and hit the road....Nothing like the sight of a mommy SUV towing a trailer...
Oh and happy New Years Eve or...whatever...

Where in Texas, I live in DFW and am active with all the local Track day and auotx clubs if she needs any introductions or a lay of the land.

Houston’s got some good driving groups, but traffic sucks. I have a friend who lives in Houston and I go down there occasionally to visit, autox, and hit up Motorsports Ranch-Houston.
MSR-H is a fun little track, there are no elevation changes but that’s kind of to be expected since the whole area is basically at sea level.

That’s pretty cool, the track near me hosts one of those Extreme Experience (pretty sure it’s a different company with a similar/same name). The fastest times people post online (part of the package is a video deal) are about 10s a lap slower than I am on the same course in my BRZ, learning to drive on track really isn’t the point of those deals though its more about experiencing the cool cars.
Here’s me chasing down a GT3 RS at my last trackday, since I was running the classroom portion I had to drive during the Intermediate session:
My BRZ is my daily driver and other than a header is stock power wise (the class I run in is for street cars on street tires with mostly suspension work). A GT3 RS on that track should be 6- 10s a lap faster than my BRZ (notice on the straight how much it pulls away only to immediately be caught during a fast corner).
Lots of people think they are fast until they actually show up to the track, I love when people will come up to me after a session and ask if I’ve got a supercharger or a turbo (I don’t) or what tires I run (200tw street tires). But I don’t know your sister, she might be a hot shoe with years of track experience who could downright embarrass me on the track.
All I’m saying is that those drive a supercar deals have no relationship to driving skill. I coached at an autox version of one for a couple of years before the company shutdown after their transport burned up all the cars, mostly Ferrari 430's and Lamborghini Gallardo . We were instructed to keep the customers safe, happy, and slow. If you as a coach exceeded 7/10ths of the speed of the car you got yelled at over the radio and potentially removed from driving duties.
