Cleaning out the kitchen and our flour container had seen better days. It’s the “square-grip canister” with snapping lid. It was a large boi, usually used as a cereal container in your childhood. So anyway, it USED to look like this:
But when I pulled out of the dishwasher , it came out like this:
So to recap: Rubbermaid, Kitchen Aid, etc: dishwasher safe. Snapware: not safe.

My grandfather had some old Tupperware stuff that was not microwave safe. A bit interesting there...
I meanwhile have further melted my big plastic cutting board by leaving it on the stove. Stove was off, but it was too close to the oven exhaust vent while the oven was going . I need more counter space...

I have also melted a plastic cutting board by the same means back when we rented a place so small it had no dishwasher, W/D, any room for a table so we had to eat on the couch, and half the wall heaters didn’t work. Fun tiiiiiimes

Shove some tiny white LEDs in there, add a rope, and you've got yourself a pretty nice chandelier.
