...I thought the arrow was the direction you inserted it into the slot?

The greater Doug's power grows the greater his assumptions become.

I’m not sure which is more annoying - not understanding a simple ‘up’ arrow for unlock or the pronunciation of stability as ‘staybility’ (maybe that’s an east coast thing I don’t understand...)

The thing that bugged me about this video is the part where he mistakenly complains that the little wheel on the center dash vents with blue and red markings “ o verrides” the climate controls. It’s more of a “make less cool air blow through the dash vents” wheel (marked #3 in this diagram in the manual).

If it’s an indicator for the ignition, why is it also a button? Being a button means
the arrow describes its function. Which it doesn't

Try it as a non American :p “git” instead of get, and the way he always says “in back”. You mean, in the back?

Well it confirms his theory though... people who understands it loves the system, lol.
(Admittedly, I like it a lot too since I use it properly as well )

Let’s not try to explain why the lock button is the BMW badge as well, heh.

Isn’t that what the knobs and shit below that do?

I’m indifferent about it. It’s one more thing I have to adjust. I mostly leave it on red in the winter and blue in not-winter.
Meanwhile, the same page of the ma nual says the red/blue wheel for the back seat vents adjusts their temperature.

I leave mine on full auto, set to a fixed temperature. Then use the wheel to “tweak” the temperature.

Yes and no.
Let’s say it’s 50 degrees outside, and you want to heat the inside of your car to 70 degrees. You set the auto temp control to 70, and t he HVAC system blends a combination of heated and not-heated air and blows it through the vents.
But if that air is blowing through the dash vents, it might be cooler than desired to be blowing out of the dash vents when it’s a little chilly. So the red/blue wheel lets you remove some of the not-heated air from the mix for only those dash vents.
