I'm losing track of how many Seahawks-themed vehicles I've seen this week. The DeLorean is at least more interesting than the rest.

I’ll never forget how many Seahawks-themed vehicles (usually Silverados and Tundras) went up on CL back in ‘16 when it was apparent that the party was over. Ditto the billions of 12th Man flags that disappeared from everyone’s porches.

To be fair, the defense was still bad when ALL of it was there. Only difference is they can’t score without Carson apparently.

Honestly sometimes I think everyone considers it a fair trade to get Marshawn back. I haven't seen this much local hype and friendliness since 2013

I think the optimism is completely unfounded. He’s 33 years old and hadn’t broken 1,000 yards since 2014, missed over half of 2015, sat out 2016, and played only six games in 2018. This town’ s blind thirst for nostalg ia (see: Mariners squeezing every last drop of blood from Edgar and Ichiro) is unmatched.

It’s fun and gives  us something to smile about when otherwise the news is all bad so at least there’s that. I’m not expecting much from their next two games but that would make it that much sweeter if they can somehow pull a rabbit out of their hats.

You must not have heard, but the Seahawks are 11-4 and going to the playoffs with a pretty ragtag team. I think the party is still going strong!
