I get some good views once in a while.
Plan ahead. Get there early. Makes less stress and hassle. You also get to an outlet before anyone else. Good luck!

Good advice. I’ve got 900 miles ahead of me, much of it in the rain.
Safe travels to all.

My son’s girlfriend is flying home from Puerto Vallarta today. They have a six-hour layover in Dallas. I would rent a car and drive. They’d be home in 3.5 hours. It’s an extra expense, but it would be worth it to me.

Been there (the Midwest) and back (the PNW) already. Aside from our bags being delayed by a couple of days, it was all good. Drove a Chevy Malibu around - probably better than the Kia Optima we were offered. Airports (ORD and CID) were busy but that shouldn’t be a surprise. (Busy for CID is relative, there are eight gates, or maybe nine.)

Nice view. I really should start taking more pictures when I’m out on the ramp, especially since I’m usually out there around sunset every working day.

We got to the airport 2 hrs early, leaving Austin for Maine. It was so easy. Direct flight from austin to Boston, bus from Logan to Portland, and my mom picked us up. It was the least-stressful travel day since my daughter was born. She’s 6 now, and an expert traveler already.
Not sure how Monday’s weather might mess shit up, but the panic’s downgraded every time I’ve looked.
Still wish we could have a snow day.
