The WHO has a new album. Good stuff. I’ve just spent 4 days on the road listening to classic rock stations and didn’t hear it once. What is wrong with this world!!!!

If the stones released a new one I wouldn’t really care. A contemporary band will release music and it will still be relevant. But The who isn’t really sounding that way now. More like their old selves for their old fans. I’m 46. And when the dead milkmen released a new batch of songs, I just wasn’t feeling it. That magic vibe was fizzling. Same with the recent pixies album or g&r releasing Chinese democracy....just not there.

The Who sounds good. But is there something more? It just sounds like the who to me. I dunno.

Oh, I love it. That comment being through the Who colored glasses of a guy who’s seen them 5 times. I t warms my heart to see them rock one last time into the night.

I t hink the album is a love song to their music. Music that they won’t be playing v ery much longer.
