So I’m at the grocery store picking up some Christmas dinner ingredients  when I spot this ugly hydrogen-powered boi. I’ve never seen a Mirai in the wild before . The styling sure is...distinctive.

My, that is quite a special car. I'm pretty sure you can't get anywhere close to where I live on hydrogen power so I'm safe. . . for now.

might be some sort of sticker for single occupancy HOV lane access for hybrid/electric/hydrogen vehicles

They really don’t photograph well, do they? Not a looker by any means, but seems more ungainly in real life than in Toyota’s official press shots.

If anything I’d say it’s worse in person than in photos ...it jumped out at me from across the parking lot.

There are two in my neighborhood. You can only lease them I think. I work on shows and I was in charge of the Toyota booth a few times, I have driven these into the building and placed them, you can also set them up to be a generator and power a house in an emergency.

 This is one of the great things about living in the Midwest, by the time that tech reaches Ohio, the package will look, at worst, like the current gen Camry..
