Riding in December! It is a balmy 50° here in Chicagoland, so I took the opportunity to finish replacing the stator on my scooter. Of course I had to test the results! It was a really short ride, as I was wildly underdressed to ride i n these temps, but it still put a big old smile on my face!

Everything is on a trickle charger now, waiting for spring.

I did the same! I rode for over an hour and a half today and got to see the orchard valley after the harvest. It was very surreal but peaceful at the same time.

You must be forgetting, because I’ve posted about them both :)

I picked up the Vespa at the end of last summer for my wife. It’s an ‘09 LX 150 that I scored for a grand. I bought the Kymco for a $100 this summer. It wasn’t running, it’s beat up, and it has no title. I cleaned the tank, replaced the fuel lines and spark plug , and threw on a $17 Chinese copy of the carb, and it fired right up. It needs a new front tire, and it's good to go. I bought it to have a scooter to lend to friends and teach them to ride.

The Vepsa I remember now that you mention it, but I can’t recall the Kymco at all...

I must be getting old....I’ll hate to see my memory when I am in my 60s! 0_o

That’s all the Kymco stuff I’ve got! Mostly Super 8 stuff, but there’s a repair manual in there for the ZX/Scout 50, so you should be good! :)
