Update : I forgot I had done a review of the service this year.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Quite a shame: Blue Indy was very handy when I needed it, and I’ve needed it quite often as the Jeep is ALWAYS IN THE BLOODY SHOP.
(I’d managed to keep it out of the shop for 2-3 months, but mainly by postponing things I need, and this morning I had to take it again because my bloody starter failed for the 3rd time in 5 years.)
“did not reach the level of activity required to break economically viable” feh.

I was in Indy last week for PRI, saw a few BlueIndy cars but never one in use. They're small and kinda gross inside. I'm sad to see it go but not surprised.

I wouldn’t want to take one cross-country, but for quick hop from point A to point B in the city they were fine.
I wrote a review this spring: https://oppositelock.kinja.com/blue-indy-a-trip-report-1834628913

I love intra-city car shares as a concept. Shame they never seem to work out. They make so much sense.

That sucks, but when the majority of your charging station/parking spots are along the IndyGo Red Line AND in front of prime real estate....
Maybe Motorweek will come back to do one last piece on them before they move to another city/merge with a competitor/fold altogether.
