Even to these ‘Murican eyes.... it’s always looked huge.
They are desperately gorgeous, and would be the object of great collector desire-- but wow are they big.

My general theme is that the older classics are better built than the newer ones. We have a couple of E30s, an E34 an E46 and E92.
The E30 and E34 are definitely “keepers”.
I rather fancy an E28, but they’ve gotten dear.

That's why I like the 23, its as big as a modern 5 but cheaper than the 28

Interesting. Curb weights under 3300 pounds in some cases. Corvettes and 911s now weigh that.
