The first 4 cars I owned, I paid $ 6500 for. Total. Sold them for $ 5600. Again, total.
They were mostly pretty good cars, too. And all 4 would be collectible today ( why I don’t know for a couple but whatever)

I was probably just born years before you is all. Those cars were all bought and sold between 1984 and 1987, and they were considered old cars at * that* time.
