Mine is really really simple. If 2020 is good for me, I want some cheap to exercise my wrenching.
Nothing classic, because I can’t be arsed and most the classics I can afford here in the UK don’t appeal to me.
No luxury barges, because I’m coming to the conclusion that larger cars are not meant to the UK. Always cringe to see people trying to park the new Discoverys in the supermarket parking lot.
Nothing expensive, because I can’t afford it (being the only income source sucks)
My shortlist is, at the moment:
- Freelander (ideal spec would be a black HSE td4 5d )
- Rav4 XA20 (2nd generation, 5d, AT )
-CRV (1st of 2nd generation, AT )
Nothing very exciting, but I like’em.
And you, oppos? What automotive objectives you guys have for 2020?

If I’m successful in selling my race car , it could open up some automotive options for me to consider.

Restore the Fiero, fix the triumph, fix the TDM, and then have a week where I take a different vehicle to work every day.

Maybe pay someone to give it a “2020” modification (proximity entry on the passenger door, OEM CarPlay unit & surround cameras) power driver’s seat), but this is probably the goal right now . The first item would be done regardless. Voodoo Blue is pretty, but if I’m parking in the driveway at home, I don’t want something brand new and I want something I’m fine getting dirty.

Get the 633 running and get to drifting. Going to be a year of testing and tuning.

I need to install a sub in my Mustang. I didn’t get the upgraded stereo and that was a huge oversight on my part. The base stereo sucks donkey balls in the GT.

Real simple - Go to the effing track already.
Either autocross or an actual track day, I’ve had a Miata for over two years now.

Wants something cheap for wrenching........
Number 1 on the list is a Land Rover?
I think we have different definitions of cheap.

Hopefully sell my truck, get into a sporty-ish DD (thinking CPO GTI or similar) and then a
LR3 for winter and camping duty. Maybe wait til 2021 for the truck.

I need to lift my ram, nothing crazy, probably just a 4/2 leveling kit, the desert is calling and i must go, but i don’t want to rip off my bumper in the process
