I’m sure it will pop right back up when he starts it...

The devil always gets his share. Always.
Hope it's actually an easy fix though. Never know, could be something simple.

Also:
Audi Allroad 2.7TT *6 speed* $7995
I’m surprised at how many of these have had their bumper covers painted. I guess the plastic gets faded and painting is easier than restoring? Or they think the painted look is just more luxurious?

Of course it’s an easy fix. Just take it to the Audi dealer, give them $$$$, then it gets fixed.
Easy.

Some context please?

The air suspension on the front corner has failed. Extremely standard Allroad problem.

Oh I see it now. That’s pretty sad.

That must be deflating...

I think it’s just that bare plastic looks like trash after about 2 years. A lot of mini guys paint their trim and we have a lot less of it than an Allroad does.

Meanwhile, apparently fully functional

Which makes no sense since the rear bumper is faded.
Take a closer look at the front bumper. It looks damaged on the passenger side. Me thinks it’s been in a front end collision, and finding an A6 front bumper was easier.

Hey you need a third row seat for that? I have one for a c5 allroad in my garage I need gone.

No such thing as a fully functional allroad :p

I suspect sabotage. You’ll be buying this off him as broken and will “find” and “easy fix” won’t you?

I wanted one for mine but I never made it that far down the list. I kinda doubt he would as his kids have long ago moved out.

It’s an auto, but
go give this a test drive.
Not suggesting buying this exact one, but just to see how you like them. Considering how much you liked your WRX I think you’ll dig it, same motor and all that.
If you do, keep an eye out for a manual model
.

do Arnotts do changeover replacements?
![]() 12/17/2019 at 21:43 |

Having driven both versions, the manual is just so, so sososossosososososo so much better...

As an owner of the manual I extremely agree. But at least with the auto he’d still get a feel for things like
features, comfort, and
visibility, and get at least a taste of the engine performance.

He’s already owned (briefly) a manual one though. You can’t go back from that!
