Change my mind.

So it’ll be like the WEC with 2 classes racing at the same time.

I mean, maybe if you want to do a ‘hot take’ post, yo u might want to add the correct info...? (Formula 1 hasnt used a v8 in years...)

In the same way that WRC and WTCC have merged, yes

I’m confused....you mean WTCC and TCR
? Because rally is completely different to touring cars....or am I missing something?

Electric formula cars are completely different from Formula 1 cars too

True, but they are far more similar than something like WTCC and Rally.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t merge someday down a distant road. Who knows though! :)

As much as I try to enjoy it FE just doesn’t hold my interest. I thought the Gen 2 cars would do it but after a couple of weekends I stopped watching.
The racing is close, even exciting at times, but I never feel the need to watch it like with F1 or MotoGP.
The problem is that the level of development I want to see in FE is what would drive away the manufacturer names that were attracted to a lower cost series and the associated greenwashing of their brand.
However, I agree that their paths will converge one day.
