It’s also on FB marketplace with a few more pictures. It’s rusted out at the toolbox on the passenger side, and it looks like drivers side floorboard as well. I’ve been trying to carefully pick my next project, and my wife surprised me this morning and offered to buy this one for me. It’s the exact same color scheme as my dads old truck, and ultimately my first vehicle. I’d actually say this one is in better shape than the C10 I had over 30 years ago.
My gut says no.

Dual fuel tanks?
And it’s clearly a V8... but which one? 307, 350 or 402? I hate it when sellers leave out key info like that.
But after doing a bit of a search and seeing what these go for in similar conditi
on, it’s at least a weak Nice Price if it runs, goes, turns and stops reasonably well.

FB ad says it’s a 350. My old one was a 307 that wouldn’t die, the tinworm finally killed it. I’m a bit on the fence, still, so by the time I decide one way or the other, it’ll probably be gone.

You need to go check it out in person. Then determine how much rust it has. Rust is everything here. Mechanical is simple and cheap.

A little steep, but not far off.

Rust is a killer for me. As you said, mechanical is the easy stuff.
