He was also a great champion of the local “Angel Babies” charitable effort to support parents who have lost a child. My wife and I had a stillbirth - losing our first child at term, and their support group was very helpful as we recovere d from it. I don’t think he was well known outside our area, but he was beloved here. We have a large Japanese community here, and many were interred during WWII. There was an internment camp in Pinedale, which was then out in the country and is now I. North Fresno. There is now a memorial there.

“My wife and I had a stillbirth”
That happened to one of my coworkers a few years ago. I cannot fathom the pain of that.
