My 4-year old has a nasty cough ... We think it’s croup ... She didn’t sleep well at all last night. No matter to her. It was in the mid 40's this afternoon, so when I asked the girls if they wanted to come work in the garage with me, this little girl bounced up. Yes, she’s in her PJs and a sweatshirt.
I must say, she’s quite good with a nut driver. I cracked them loose, and she took care of the rest. The Zuma needs a new stator. We got as far as we could until the flywheel puller I ordered shows up.

My youngest just turned 4 this past month, you got her doing more than him! I gotta catch up.
My older daughter helped me bleed brake lines once, and I'm still alive, so I guess it went well

Also, I hope she feels better! Croup sucks

Tough, cute, and with that hat would fit right in with the Cold War Motors guys. Well, if she drank beer, smoked cigarettes and was Canadian.

You can tell her she’s tougher than me. I didn’t sleep well last night due to pain, and basically chose to sleep all day long (br ie f stop at the car wash to de-salt my car a bit).

Thanks! It really does. She seemed to be doing better by bedtime. Hopefully she'll get a good night's sleep tonight.

Print and frame that photo so you can share it with her in 10
years when she wants nothing to do with you

Yes! Get that boy in the garage! I'm glad to hear you are getting your daughter involved as well.

its cool having them help, especially when there is something they can do. my little guy put all the broke mortar into buckets when I ripped up the brick hearth. hes also a big fan of my nail gun. I unplug it when it leaves my hand so I dont end up with a nail in my ass.

It’s never too early to teach her that work needs to be done even when you’re sick, and that you also need your oil changed and new brake pads.

Good call with the nail gun! It is great when there's something they can do. I feel like such a jackhole when they want to help, but there isn't anything they can do.

Will do :)
Hope you're feeling better.

it would be pretty hard for him to fire it off anyway but why take the chance. you have to press the head of the gun down before you can pull the trigger. it freaks my wife out but its pretty safe.

Kids are really good at figuring that stuff out, so disconnecting the air is a very good call.
