Got her out of storage today for the first time in six or seven weeks. Drove 45-ish miles, filled her up with non-ethanol gas, and put her back in the garage.

58,07 2 miles now. She greeted me with a “check engine” light that came on, stayed for around 10-15 seconds, and went back off. Did that about three times as I was cruising down the highway. I’m assuming some bullshit sensor is on its way out because the car runs normal otherwise.

Oh, and I keep the hood up in the building to keep the mice nests at bay.

Jolene might be my favorite classic car that shows up on Oppo. Always nice to see pics of her out in the sunlight.

Thanks! She’s pretty fun. It’s funny how a car that was utterly forgettable in its day is now a novelty piece .

My sister had a sunbird with the v6 and the 5 speed manual option, she blew up the clutch and once me and myfather got that repaired she totaled it by running into a minivan that turned left in front of her.

Damn! That sucks. I really wish mine was a V6. I bet the V6 paired with a 5-speed would really scoot.

My wife had a black one with the V6 and a five speed. You’re right, it would scoot and it was a lot of fun to drive. We traded it in for something with four doors when our daughter was born.
