Had one of those in the 2500 flavor for a work truck back in the day. IIRC pretty good at doing truck things.

Pretty tasty landscaping as well.

Too much overhead above the garage. Needs a mini-pergola or something to break it up.
Truck is pretty sweet, though. Almost matches the house.

I’m not sure anyone has ever posted anything here that bothers me as much as the fake door handles and hinges pasted onto that garage door.

Not to make a point but there are still so many GMT400s on the road. Granted they made a ton of them but in Rust belt USA I see these 5 to 1 for a 90s ram or f150.
Only time it flipped was a bunch of 2500
Cummins.

There’s a simplicity about these that’s just nice. This whole era may be the pinnacle of modernish yet simple trucks. Also, the last era that actually looks good two-tone.
Speaking of which, I often see one of these around in this color scheme, but in better shape.

That driveway sucks for lowered cars

Unfortunately for your brain holes, it seem exceptionally popular.

I can’t say they’re terrible common here. Competition is pretty fierce because we don’t rust anything like most of the country does. I would say this is the cleanest GMT400 I can remember. There’s a good handful around running, but they’re all totally trashed. They just didn’t seem cared for...

My BIL had a ~’93 Sierra SLT 4x4 extended cab, red on red. Impressive truck, but it got 13 mpgs and a child seat didn’t fit in a meaningful way, so he got a big ol’ Cummins instead.

Yeah they get beat to a pulp out here too. People just dont care when it’s a beater truck.
Now t here are some common issues like saggy doors and tailgate handles like to break, alot (that why a number of these have the tailgate strapped shut).
But for a truck series that debuted 30+ years ago (that one is probably an 88-90), there are a decent amount on the road

Reminds me of the neighborhood in Salem
my ex wrecked my mom and dads SUV into a parked brand new Jeep Cherokee. Owner
wasn’t too happy.
