W ait, so what’re the relays for? A re they providing power to the slot- car track ? ‘C uz those’re way overkill for flashing some LED lights... Is the slot car race fully controlled by the Arduino?

Looks tasty.

I’m completely clueless when it comes to car stereo. Other than I know I need an amp, a sub, and some better speakers. I don’t need audiophile-grade stuff , but I do need some bass. Ah well, project for summer after next.

Next summer is Steeda springs & shocks. :)

Yes to all.

I will have a button for people to push. When they do:

Arduino powers up motor controller / small amp

Starting line LED light with beeps

Cars do 10 laps with MP3 of racing sounds

Cars stop at finish line

System re-sets

There’s a lot more going on but that’s basically what it does. Coding has been t he hard part.
