Tried refinishing my S10 tail lights and failed miserably . IDK what that yellow stuff keeps building up on the lens. Never had a vehicle do that, so $40 later I have two new tail lights and put all new bulbs
Never knew they were supposed to be so shiney!
Also never knew I had side marker bulbs.... that is beyond burnt.
All good.
Dont think I ever showed Oppo my new headlights and signal lights. One of my headlights were cracked and bought a clear set. Pretty good light output. I think the signal lights are a bit dim during the day or no one sees I have my turn signal on... yes that is it.
Needs paint job and LS swap

“Needs paint job and LS swap”
Nah... convert it to FWD/electric by using the powertrain and battery from a wrecked Chevy Bolt!
And for the paint job, how about a nice pink/grey two-tone job?

Could be that your turn signals aren’t amber enough.

Nice!
I recently replaced the taillights on my truck. Made quite a difference. I’m tempted to replace the housings up front, but some sort of voodoo magic has kept all the original bulbs up front still working. Including the original ever-troublesome GMT-800 drl bulbs. So, I don't dare mess with them, for fear of angering the spirits.

I try to as much as I can. Paint on the hood, driver fender and roof is pretty much gone. used spray paint to stop any rust from forming.

For 20 years my parents 96 caravan had all original light bulbs except for one 3rd brake light bulb. Dodge can keep a bulb lit, but not the electronics :P

Actually, I’ve only replaced two bulbs on the truck in its life, and I’ ve owned it from new. The left rear brake light burned out last year, and the right rear turn signal was working intermittently. When I pulled that out, I found the contacts had worn down. I could have flipped it and put it back in, but since I had already purchased the new bulb, I went ahead and put it in.
The wonky electrics in my truck, are the ones in my driver's door. My truck usually thinks the door is closed, even when it's open. The speaker only works sometimes, and only when the door is either all the way closed or all the way open. If the door is in-between, no speaker. The door lock switch works most of the time, but not all of the time.
