This is the Simpson Swift. It is a Lotus-inspired limited-production rebodied Miata. It has zero luxuries but weighs only 1400 pounds, and I have never wanted a Miata more than I do now. More info here:

I love Simpson Design.

This looks really cool, in a C1 Corvette meets Studebaker and Raymond Loewy vibe. The windshield transplant really makes it look classic.

but my all time favorite is:

the NA-based Italia Classic Coupe. I just wish it were about 5-10% larger scale. I barely fit in the NB Miata I used to have.

That one is also very good. So classy! But the Swift also has a touch of Tatra-esque weirdness, which is what makes it my favorite of their designs.

 Ok, I thought the Simpson Swift looked pretty delicious,  but  I think you're right,  the Italia looks better.  (sadly, I won't fit either)
