Mini is now a French rally car :D
nFamousCJ mentioned that yellow lights will look ‘naughty’ on the Mini, so I bought some laminate film off of Amazon and stuck it on there. There are some air bubbles but the packaging said that they will go away in a couple of days, so i’ll check em again in a bit...

Those look awesome!
Also I stopped by the dealer that me e90 came from and he had a blue Cooper S JCW, about the same year as yours. Looked like he was using it as a personal car. Last time I talked to him what when he had a mini that needed to be towed into the shop. It was missing the tow hook so he called me to borrow mine. Lol He said then that he wanted to get a Mini for himself. I’ll have to let him know I might be interested in the blue in when he gets bored.

Haha, these little guys are a whole lotta fun! Get a ride along in it if you can, that will be a good way to know if you want one or now; some people find then too unrefined, some (like me) like the raw-ness :)
Also, just make sure its a 1st gen and as always bug me if you have any questions about them, they are a bit quirky but quite simple to work on

One of my favorite cars I’ve owned was my 91 Civic hatch. The Mini can’t possibly be less refined than that. And should be a fair bit faster as well

It probably is more refined...

I fully endorse the yellow film. Now polish up your damn headlights!

Those look awesome! I have yellow bulbs in my Accent, but have thought about putting some yellow film on the factory fog lights to look something like this:

Eeh, i’ll probably end up replacing the housing with projector style Halogens next year. They have alot of stone chips in em as well...

Oooooo that will look quite special!

Not sure if I would have to remove them to fit the film though...you need to take the entire front bumper cover off to do so...

I think you’ll be able to do it without removing the bumper

I’ve never worked with film before...is it hard to press all the bubbles out?

I haven't either, like I said in my post, there are some bubbles in the film right now. Hopefully they will go away

So, I checked the film today and I couldn’t see any bubbles! I think the heat from the lamps tend to get rid of them.
