Pulling down a 1980s drop ceiling to rewire the basement lights in my 1900s house , i found two 1940s or earlier plate toppers nailed to the joists!

Even cooler, they are both places my partner went when she was a child. The nails will get carefully pried out and these will go on display in the rumpus room I’m making down there.
