My dad is a man of many sayings, but one of his all-time favorites had to be about boats.  He said they are a hole in the water that you pour money into.

I can’t wait to watch it.

I know enough about boats to know I don’t want anything to do with boat ownership though.

If you can turn a wrench it’s not bad. Unless of course your boat is a POS, then it is bad. Really bad.

There is no such thing as a cheap boat. There are expensive boats and boat shaped things that are lawn ornaments. Anyone selling anything else is lying.
