I haven’t seen it. I could imagine someone doing it on purpose, but I can also imagine people buying the wrong bulbs.

In any event, it’s clearly bad.

Erm, but those that are lit are the reversing lights. The outboard clear lense area is the indicator.

Very dumb. That being said, I know white front indicators are technically legal here in Nova Scotia as a lot of older 50s/60s cars had them and it was grandfathered in for them in the laws , but doesn’t clarify that it’s only on cars that came with them from the factory, so in theory any car could have them here...

Here in the U.K. it’s illegal to have red lights or red reflective material on the front and white lights (other than reversing lights) or white reflective material on the rear of the vehicle.

I’m pretty sure I've seen some cars with the lights wired wrong, but I don't think I've seen intentional white turn signals.
