Something about what is surely a bad car just calls to me.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

It checks a lot of weird boxes. Small displacement V8. MR convertible. Pop ups. 80s interior through and through. Gated manual with a dog leg.

My wife has already confirmed if I buy it, I can GTFO. I live somewhere with 6 months of winter, so of course her opinion makes sense.

But I can’t stop thinking about it. Thankfully, the auction ends soon, and it’ll just become a regret.

My fear is, if I park it for 6 months, I’m going to have to cough up $10k every spring because it sat too long, and now the engine has to come out for some $50 part.

That, and a Ferrari in the snow could be fun.

Do the work yourself for 3k. Aside from being unloved, they are good cars. Take care of them and drive the piss out of it every now and again. It will last as long as you, or the rust, want it to ;)
